LYNCHBURG, Tenn. – Motlow State Community College recently selected “Mr. and Miss Motlow” for each of the college’s four campuses.
Selected were Michael Celiberti and Jamie Money, Moore County campus; Kyle Davis and Lauren Clardy, Fayetteville campus; J.D. Webb and Natasha Heaton, McMinnville campus; and Cameron Droddy and Victoria Looner, Smyrna campus.
Candidates were interviewed by a panel composed of individuals involved with different departments within the College and were asked several questions ranging from “Describe your personality” and “Everyone has a mission in life, what is yours?” to “If you are a first-time freshman, what can we at Motlow do to better emphasize the Tennessee Promise?” and “Explain your most significant accomplishments”. After the interview, panel members discussed and scored each interviewee.
Winners were announced at a brief ceremony and were crowned by Hilda Tunstill, interim president of Motlow. Duties and responsibilities of the winners include representing the College in upcoming community and college events such as Christmas parades and the annual Motlow Gala, and participating in the Motlow State Homecoming by assisting in crowning the King and Queen.
