Casey Nichols opened their new Total Fitness Kickboxing gym to the public in
Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on April 1.
Total Fitness Kickboxing has only been open for a few
weeks, but it will host a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. April 25. Kitchen Fresh

“Burning

“Owning
the gold gloves is an accomplishment,” said Pass. “We reward members for
bringing in more people.”
The
three founders, David Ferguson, Butch Mauldin, and Eric McMahan, launched their
business in Memphis, Tennessee. Chief of Operations Joe Pass helped open the
first Total Fitness Kickboxing gym in East Memphis. They have seven gyms across
Tennessee. There are four gyms in Memphis, one in Knoxville, and one in
Chattanooga. Pass and Nichols serve as full-time instructors at the
Murfreesboro location.
Pass
used to work in an intimidating gym where there was MMA, Jiu Jitsu, and
kickboxing. After suffering a shoulder injury, he decided to focus more on the
fitness side of Kickboxing. That is when he contacted the founders and soon formed
a business a partnership.
Pass
and Nichols said they have worked hard to help every member achieve his or her goals.
They love to see people lose weight and gain some muscle. They strive to see
the overall improvement of each individual.
“Hit the gym harder,” said Pass.
